Gabrielle the maintenance man at Skygate Tower is a champ. Randomly had a few issues all at once and he came and fixed promptly. Also very kind and sweet, thank you Gabrielle, and boardwalk give this guy a raise! — Sandra
I really appreciate the care and attention that building manager, Carmen, puts into all her efforts. She is friendly and does all that she can to make sure that my needs are taken care of. Another very friendly staff member is Gabe. He does the maintenance. He is quick to respond to any concerns and does a great job of making sure anything that is broken is fixed.
Utilities have always been included in my 4 years of living here and now they’re no longer including water. Rent is going up $120 for the second year in a row, and now no water. This price would MAYBE be justified if we had in-unit laundry, fobs instead of keys, and better security (homeless people are often found sleeping inside and packages are ALWAYS stolen) But no. This is an average old building. My google name is not my legal name, so no, you won’t find me in your system, and I prefer to stay anonymous.
I saw the price jump by $500 for these. lived here 4 years ago and was paying too much for a one bedroom with a den at $1350. The first month I moved in I regretted it. Once they hook you in you’re doomed. It started out with the upstairs neighbours toilet flushing through their flooring and in through our bathroom fan. No compensation for damages and no cleaning crew. I found cockroaches a week later and they DID NOT DO A PROPER EXAMINATION.
