I have been here a few times... usually by boat from Daufuskie but also by car. If you are coming by car be prepared to park a little ways away, older guests might want to be dropped off up front. They have live music often and it usually great. The food is consistently very good. The drinks are excellent, but fair warning, you are coming to a popular place. Terrible service! Waited over an hour for a 45min wait. After seeing several people seated that arrived after us we asked about our place in line. The hostess lied and said we had been sent a text stating our table was ready. Told her we received one saying our name was in and nothing further. Then she said it was under the wrong number which is incorrect because we got the first txt. This was our second chance eating here as the first time I puked after taking 5 steps out of the place. Both my husband and I are from Maryland and skull creek is the only restaurant we have found down here that has REAL crab cakes. Service is always wonderful and the atmosphere is great.
