this is our 13th vacation to HHI this is the third time coming to SCB - this is the second time they have been out of the crab stuffed filets - my husband does not like seafood but said three years ago that SCB had the best filet ever - not that he has had the chance to try it again
My family and I have been coming to Hilton Head for about 17 years and we have been coming here for the past 3 years and this is the best seafood on the island! Our server Scott was great and the food was awesome as well! Definitely worth the wait! Can't wait to come back next year!
For dinner today, my family and I decided to try and the Skull Creek Boathouse. We tried 3 different meals, along with soup and appetizer. Everything was absolutely delicious! Along with great food, we experienced excellent customer service and a picturesque scenery!
We ended up only waiting about 40 minutes. Service was great, food came out quick. Definitely worth the time.
My husband and I had lunch severed by Guil! He is amazing! Enjoyed calamari, fish tacos, and crab cake! Will be back for dinner later this week!
I wish I could give a different review for service and food. I'll start with the food. We ordered the broiler sampler, fish fingers and fries, crab cakes sandwich and a sushi roll. Everything was delicious! I would definitely eat here again and again. The food was definitely 5 stars!! The service was a little different. The best food we've ever had. Worth the wait. (Always about 60-80 minutes to get a table) lots to do while waiting though for the kids, games, legos, t shirt coloring, etc.
A year ago I would have said amazing...today beyond horrible. The wait was over 2 hours which would be ok if they had been honest about wait time...and they weren't!!! They said an hour. Not sure what happened. Watched a family just in front of us get seated, order, eat and leave 45 minutes before we even got seated! Same, same of party of 6 inside. NEVER EVER AGAIN. Good food but not worth being lied to for 2 hours.
