I came to SKN Dermatology due to dermatitis. I had never been to a dermatologist before. Dr. Zwal was very kind and compassionate to the issues I had been experiencing. Unfortunately I did not get the name of the tech that was assisting the Dr, but she was also very kind and helpful. I don't have insurance and the tech gave me recommendations on how I can save $ on the prescriptions, which worked. Wonderful facial today. Also, Dr. Faraki did a fantastic job evaluating and excising a potential skin cancer. Love this practice.
I recently met with Dr. Blackwood and specifically asked about the cost before agreeing to have a spot frozen and was told there would be no additional charge if it was done during my already scheduled appointment. Based on that information, I proceeded and paid my normal copay. Weeks later, I received an unexpected bill for the procedure. Patients deserve accurate information about costs before consenting to treatment.
