We have been going to Skips for years for a company team building event and it works out great every year. The convenient location and great staff are why we return every year.
It is the best place the Kayak, Canoe or Tube in Ann Arbor area. It is all river ride and no still water paddling. There are no portages to worry about. Skip's always has had great owners and exceptional employees. The new owners are keeping the tradition and good service. It is great for a fun and relaxing day. There is a party store on the river about halfway you can stop and fill up on snacks. Just a little further down is a great park where you can stop and have lunch. Have bathrooms at the park to clean up after lunch.

Very nice staff and they give you plenty of time for your 8 mile trip. A bit of a drive but the river is beautiful.
