This is a great trip! Plenty of places to stop, and the river does most of the work for you. They are doing all they can to keep everyone safe from covid as well. The staff is helpful and friendly. There's nothing negative to say.
We had out of town guests for the 4th of July and so happy we did this with them, we had a GREAT trip!! Plenty of places to stop along the way, river is clean and staff so helpful and friendly. Definitely going back:)
We had a great experience today using Skips for our kayaking! So easy to book, seamless check in, quick trip to launch and easy return! We all said we wished we could do this every week. It was so much fun, so relaxing and affordably priced. The kayaking was pretty effortless and we got lucky with perfect weather!
What a fabulous experience we had today on the river!!! The staff was extremely helpful when arranging a group trip. Additionally, the owner personally went back to the livery to pick up a bag of snacks we left behind!!!! He then brought it to us as we were getting ready to launch. Saved the day for some hungry kiddos!!! Awesome customer service and would highly recommend because it was easy to book, very reasonably priced, and a first class operation all the way!!!!
It was a great experience, only customers should be aware that at this time the "free beer" at the end of the float is discontinued for the time being. I trust they'll be updating their website soon to reflect that.
We had 2 families of 4 today visit Skips today for tubing. We had a Fantastic time!! Staff was very friendly and welcoming. The river was magnificent! There were plenty of places to stop along the way for any swimming/snack breaks. Our kids all loved it! The river was clean and shallow. We will definitely be back! We would highly recommend for families or groups of friends. We had SO much fun!!! Thanks for a great day Skips!
just need to give a huge shout out to the guys working on Sunday May 31 around noon. Both my husband's and my kayaks capsized at a fallen tree in the water. The water was running so hard and fast we could barely move. This great group of guys stood at the ready to help us anyway they could. we finally made it to shore, they helped us out, got our kayak emptied and had us relax for a few. when we were ready, they helped us get back in the water. I didn't get their names but can't thank them enough!
