Skip's is Good food, but not a kid friendly place I have only been to Skip's a couple of times for lunch. The food is always good. I especially love the salad that has the spinach and strawberries. The one thing I didn't like about them is that they are not very kid friendly. They don't have high chairs and don't really have kid friendly menu choices and the wait staff isn't very friendly toward kids.
A good find Located on the South side, Skip's is never first in my mind, but I am always happy when someone suggests it. It is quite dark inside, but the wood paneling is beautiful. The food is always fresh and portions are a good size. Lunch is always busy and once your order the Shrimp Club or one of their amazing salad, you will know why.
Great Atmosphere This place has excellent food. Very busy over the lunch hour but the atmosphere is well worth it. It is very dark in there during the day light so it is very romantic for a nice dinner out with a spouse. The cavatelli is my favorite dish! I hear the calamari superb as well.
