Great place...great service. Always get seated and served quickly no matter how busy they are.
We always stop in a Skipper's pier when visiting Herrington Harbour Marina Resort with our boat. It's usually excellent and I've reviewed the place with 5 stars in the past. Perhaps Saturday, August 12th 2017 was just an off night, but the place was off somehow. My wife had a crabcake platter, which she ordered broiled but received fried. I had the house specialty, Rockhold Rockfish. My Manahattan was not very well prepared and both our dishes were subpar. Wonderful cream of crab soup and crab cake platter!
Great food, awesome bartenders! Just an FYI, if you sit at the dock bar, there are no servers. If you have no problem with getting up to order through the bar (like myself) it's awesome!
I am from NY and eaten on a few upscale restaurants and the food at Skipper's Pier is way better and the atmosphere and service spectacular ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
