Cold Beer, good food, especially the fish & chips, atmosphere, service was great
This is the way to get a good sample of the food and culture of the great state of MD. Skipper's Pier is a great place to sample all; crab cakes, soft shell, and rock fish to name a few. Now, how about the fried green tomatoes............
Went to skippers pier this afternoon with my husband for a late lunch. Was seated within 5 minutes- waitress came by and took our drink order - daiquiri and Mule hit the spot! We looked over the menu while the band started to play and they played very fun covers. We ordered right away and the small salad and cream of crab soup were out within minutes. always great food and amazing service!!! Love this place!!! Just wish one thing... a shaded area puppy friendly.. having boxers, they can't take heat.. just a thought... but we LOVE this place!!!
We arrived and there wasn't a wait. We sat in the bar area. They had the sides of the place open and there were flies everywhere! It took our server 10+ minutes to come by our table to tell us she would be right with us. She went outside to a table, chatted with the people who she apparently knew because she ate a French fry or something from the girls plate which I could see. She finally came and took our order.
