Very thorough Brazilian Wax – Liliya did the waxing. She was incredibly thorough (used tweezers at the very end). My skin in that area calmed down in about half an hour, which is a very short time compared to other waxes I've experienced.
great tech, easy to book apt – This place was a little hard to find.. its in a biz building but it's worth the look. I went for my first brazilian wax there and the tech was really great. She made me as comfortable as i could be given the circumstances. Spa was clean and sanitary and disposable underwear and supplies were provided.
Best Wax in NYC!! – I've been to lots of places for waxing and this one's the best. The technicians are very experienced and EXTREMELY thorough. The spa is beautiful, clean and in a great location. I highly recommend it.
Amazing treatments - lazer Genesis – I recently visited NYC and made an appt at The Skin Spa. I am a Bel-Aire California native and have heard great things about this spa. I was treated by a wonderful esthetician and had the laser genesis facial which completely changed the look of my skin. I left there feeling fresh, tight and had an unbelievable glowing look, everyone at dinner that evening had a compliment for me. I highly recommend this treatment and the spa. NO MORE HAIR! – I've had amazing results and highly recommend this place for laser hair removal. The staff is very knowledgable and you can't beat the location.
The Best! – I visitied a couple of places before choosing The Skin Spa for laser hair removal. I'm on my 5th treatment and have had a great experience. The facility is beautiful and clean, the staff is friendly and there's never a wait. I go to Liliya, she's very thorough and experienced. Very happy with my results. Be sure to book levening appointments early since they fill up.
Red Carpet Treatment – From the minute I walked in I was given the red carpet treatment. The reception staff was attentive and focused, polite and delightful. The owner came and introduced himself and made me feel welcome. The esthetician was lovely and the facial and other services professional and relaxing. My skin glowed as I walked out the door with a smile on my face. money well spent. Outstanding establishment!
People in NYC are Nice – I was very happy to take my mother to The Skin Spa this weekend, after talking to their staff on the phone. They were very nice, informative and actually seemed happy to answer all my questions. Last Mother's day we had a horrible experience so i was skeptical to try another spa. A hidden Oasis – A friend from work told me about this place. It's actually right in midtown near Grand Central. I went here for a Brazilian Wax after work. It's very upscale and trendy. They have a cute staff and they seem to know all their customers by name. I was taken back at how friendly it was. It wasn't your typical NYC snooty spa. Anyhoo, my was was great.
