Am now healing from the facial – The staff is friendly and the place is clean, but that's where it stops. I went in for the special microdermabrasion and facial special. The microdermabrasion is very quick and OK. I've had better. Also, my sinuses felt gritty from the microderm dust. The worst is the facial. The extraction left me with three scabs on my face. I have sensitive skin and have had other facials, but never had scabs on my face. I'm so embarrassed. I'm never going back.
Went down hill really fast – I used to love Skin Spa, but it seems they have grown faster than they can handle. They offer deals on Groupon, Living Social and through their own site now and unfortunately, their quality has dramatically decreased. I can no longer get appointments with the person I want, even if I call a month in advance. And the last time I went, they changed the waxer on my without calling to tell me. Great Deal!!!! – I found this spa on Lifebooker where they were offering 50% off on all of their services. I got a bikini wax and it was wonderful! The waxer was skilled, quick, and the procedure was painless. There were no stray hairs and I felt very comfortable. Plus with the Lifebooker discount it was truly an amazing deal. I will definitely be returning!
My friends envy me!!! – I love The Skin Spa. I have had 3 treatments done, by three different employees, and they were all equally warm and welcoming, and skilled and professional. The treatment that I had was the laser titan. My face and neck are noticably smoother and tighter. make sure you get an appointment – first time getting a bikini wax and it was not bad at all! shelly was a sweetheart. she explained everything to me, answered all my questions, and was super-gentle, applying nice pressure after she pulled the wax off. the 50% off from google really helped with the pricing at the end :) i'd definitely go back.
Great facials, Great massages – I L-O-V-E The Skin Spa. I always tell my friends to go there because I feel confident in their services. Their facials are so relaxing and the estheticians are very professional and make you feel right at home. And I am just a melty puddle of happy mush after their massages - no more back pain! Considerate staff – It was nice to get a Brazilian and actually be treated like a human being going through a painful process -- taking care to do as few strips as possible, telling when to breathe, etc., and with good results. It made everything easier.
