Loved the spa, Loved my Microdermabrasion! – From the moment that I walked inside, I was forced into tranquility. There is soft music playing in the lobby and beautiful fresh flowers, all of which helped me calm down from my daily rush. Bye, Bye Hair! – Look no further for laser hair removal! I've just finished by fifth (of six) treatments and could not be happier. My skin is almost hair-free. Their lasers have worked great, were relatively painless (similar to waxing) and the technicians have been friendly and thorough. Plus, the location and hours are convenient and the prices are good. Definitely highly recommend.
AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! – I could not get a facial with my usual Aesthetician and decided to look on Citysearch for an alternative who had good reviews. NEED A FACIAL....LOOK NO FURTHER – I LOVED MY VISIT AT THE SKIN SPA. BEING THAT IT WAS MY FIRST TIME AT A SPA AND MY FIRST TIME HAVING A FACIAL, I DID ALOT OF RESEARCH AND IT WAS WORTH IT. Absolutely Loved It! – I absolutely loved my first visit to this spa. I have been in New York for about 3 months, and I have never been treated so friendly and attentive. The lady who waxed me (Deb) was extremely warm. It was my first brazilian wax and I was a little uncomfortable, but she definitely helped me feel less nervous and calmed me down. It wasn't quite as painful as I expected, and she was very thorough. The rest of the staff was professional and friendly as well. I'll definitely be going back.
Great waxing.... – Last week I finally tried Skin Spa for the first time for waxing service, they have a great deal for first time customers with a coupon ($50 off) I got half leg and underarm done. Ewa was my waxer and she did a great job. She took her time with the wax, which was clearly very good quality. She used the hard wax as well as the honey wax to get all the hair off. Loved it! Great Wax! – So my waxer recently moved and I found The Skin Spa through this site. As it turns out, its located right around the corner from my office (I didn't even know it was there). Anyway, I was a little nervous at first since I had used the same waxer for several years. But I was pleasantly surprised by the spa and the great service.
