Had an appointment for full skin check. Got text reminders confirming appointment. Arrived 20 minutes early after checking in with receptionist. Waited 40 minutes, asked what was happening, then told a glitch in the system meant I didn’t have an appointment after all. No offer of free spot check or rebooking for reduced fee. NOTHING. I went to this clinic to have my moles checked. The practitioner told me that because I don't work in the sun and I'm young, there was likely nothing to worry about. I found that concerning, as anyone can be at risk of melanoma. The appointment felt rushed, and I don't feel that a thorough full-body skin check was performed. My moles were only briefly examined, and many of my questions were left unanswered. I can only hope the assessment was accurate. Absolutely brilliant service. Easy to book an appointment online, lots of slots. I was lucky to even get my first appointment 2 days later. Joanne Lemieux was fricken fantastic. Informative, non-judgmental and very efficient :) Thanks for making me feel comfortable!

From my husband Brian.. Great service. I travelled a long distance to the clinic and they made sure I didn’t have to return to Auckland. The treatment was all done in the one day. I was well looked after and real happy with the outcome from the surgeon. Highly recommend.

I have had several treatments at skin institute Remuera and it has always been an excellent experience from start to finish. Reception team are lovely, welcoming and efficient. I have seen Jo and Marney recently, both of whom were caring and very professional and I have been delighted with the results.
