Because of the popularity and demand of our breakfast menu, Skillets is now serving breakfast from 7 am until 4:30 pm everyday. Come try our kitchen sink or stuffed french toast. For lunch we serve comfort foods like, chicken pot pie & seafood platters. Dinner is full of seafood entrees as well as meat dishes. Early bird starts at 5pm until 6:30pm.

I had shrimp and grits and it was one of the best I've had it was wonderful. My husband had the fried shrimp platter he liked it.
The breakfast and lunch are superb, the only thing about dinner...their vegetables are not fresh. But overall very good .
As we were walking in a couple was leaving because they had been setting and waiting for 15 minutes to just see a menu. That was an indication for us but we went in anyway. The hostess was shooting looks at the servers which I only noticed two for the whole restaurant. They seem to be serving as the bartender also. You sensed tension between the hostess and servers. Took my granddaughters for dinner...I had "fried" green tomatoes that were like mush! The homemade chips were not bad, but the French fries left a lot to be desired. I don't know if Amy is still running this, but she was always so meticulous about everything and nothing is as it was so makes me think someone else has taken over. It's too bad because it has always been a family favorite when they come into town.
It was great. Our waiter was awesome!! It's our anniversary weekend.
The food here is excellent!! We had the French toast and Bacon, Egg & Cheese on toast, Pancakes with bananas and sausage. Going back tonight for dinner :) you won't be disappointed!!
After arriving in Hilton Head from a long days travel, we stopped at Skillets for lunch. We were waited on by Rachel, who proceeded to take our order and not be annoyed by my questions and requests and changes. We shared a wonderful turkey club, which they immediately served with another empty plate. Sometimes you have to ask for another plate for sharing! Everything as as expected, and then some. Will go back tomorrow for breakfast!
My husband and I ate lunch there last night. The food was amazing! The waitress was amazing! My husband is gluten free, strictly. So if anyone needs gluten free, they have separate fryers, they offer gluten free bread ... And more. My husband ate the Rueben and was amazed!!! Well done Skillets!!
The food was great!!! Service was slow. But they kept us informed!!!!
