Rented the car for 2 days (48 hours). Noon pickup noon drop off. Had the car back at noon with pictures and videos showing the time stamp. They marked it as returned at 12:57. I was back in office at 12:15 , they put whatever time they want so they can charge another day on rent and insurance. Bought the insurance and took pictures of every angle to ensure they couldn’t try to pull that but they have other scams up their sleeve. Incredible experience. Kiwanwe and Tobias took care of our reservation with professionalism and care. They made sure all our boxes were checked and made proper accommodations so that we would have a pleasant experience. Thank you! We will do business with them again, no doubt.
Stay away from this location. Posting on behalf of a colleague: He prepaid for a rental through Expedia, but when he arrived, Sixt on Wabash refused to release the vehicle, claiming they don’t accept credit cards from his issuing bank- even though Expedia had already processed it. They never attempted to run the card, yet later gave Expedia incorrect information about the name on the card and available funds. Extremely unprofessional. He is filing a complaint with consumer protection agencies.
Discriminatory Practices and Poor Customer Service My colleague prepaid for a rental car through Expedia, but when he arrived to pick it up, Sixt refused to release the vehicle because they said they do not accept credit cards from his issuing bank. They also refused to issue a refund and reported incorrect information to Expedia, claiming the card was not in his name and that it lacked sufficient funds, despite the fact that the card was never even swiped or processed.
