Great tour for tourists or locals! – I did the Santa Monica tour. I came in with high expectations and I was not disappointed. Therese was GREAT - besides being personable she really did a fantastic tour. A local who knows her city. There was MORE than enough food and every stop was different.: Bakery, Tea house, Wine tasting, Border's Grill, Deli and Gelato. We all live in our own little communities - how much do we really know about our neighboring cities? L.A. is so diverse and these tours are an incredible way to explore... read more
Santa Monica Food Tour – Therese, our tour guide was awesome! She was so personable and a breath of fresh air! As for the tour itself, it was delicious! I loved experiencing new restaurants that I would never have thought to go on my own! My favorite stop was Border Grill. Be sure to get a margarita! Try this tour out. It is worth it! You will be full! I can't wait for my next Six Taste experience!
six taste litle tokyo – This is a superior event and Betsy is a guide that few could equal. Saw lots and ate lots that I have never imagined within that small space of Los Angeles. Nice day, good vibe, great pace....lots to see and do and eat. Check it out!!
Soooo good. So relaxing, so filling, so STUFFED! – Great job, Matt. The walking food tour of L.A. was great. Very informative but relaxing. The day was beautiful and all of the fellow tourists were friendly, fun and enjoyed eating as much as we did. The food was really good and the portions were generous. Great tour with a high price tag – My friend and I jumped on a LivingSocial deal for the Santa Monica Six Taste tour. We met at the farmers market this morning and were greeted by a wonderful tour guide, Therese. Seriously, this chick knows her stuff, legit foodie and the perfect personality for a tour guide! Very Special Tour – We just got home from the Dumpling Tour in Arcadia. Mike is a great tour guide. He really likes his work and it shows. He took us to Din Tai Fung Dumpling House which is the first time we ever ate Pork Dumplings. Learning Tea etiquette and other aspects of Taiwanese cultureis done in a relaxed atmosphere. Santa Monica Tour: Incredible! – I just got home from the Six Taste Santa Monica tour in Santa Monica and can't recommend it enough - especially if you live in LA! Our first stop was Rockenwagner Bakery. Now that I know they have pretzel croissants and the best coffee in west LA, I'll be a frequent visitor. Stop #2: Border Grill. This stop was such a treat! Delicious Dumpling Tour Was Awesome! :) – This past Saturday, I went on the Six Taste Delicious Dumpling Tour and it was absolutely fabulous. Mike, our guide, taught us a lot about Taiwanese food and at each stop, he went into detail about each venue. Whether it was describing the unique breads and pastries that could be found at J.J. Bakery, showing us the proper way to eat soup dumplings at Din Tai Fung, telling us about the Night Market Food and SinBala and more, it was obvious that Mike knew his food. Downtown tour was great! and Tracy is awesome!!! – Hey All, I just came back from the downtown district Six Taste tour with Tracy, and i just wanted to say that she was amazing. She was very informative and very knowledgeable about the downtown area, and was a total sweetheart to talk to! If you get a chance try to take the downtown tour with her, you'll have a great time!
