DANGEROUS PARKING ON STREET - USE VALET – First time at this place - my window go broken into and my stuff was stolen. I was inside for 1 hour on a Sunday afternoon. I asked the manager if this is common and he said " it happens several times a week." DONT PARK ON THE STREET.
Neighborhood Bar on Steroids – Yes, it's good. Yes, it's crowded. Yes, it's noisy. Yes, the wait staff passes for entertainment! The food is good, but a bit odd so you have to get to know what works for you - we are fans of the Fish Tacos, Crabcake Po' Boys and the Shrimp & Grits. The "Rattoes" are a must for cocktail hour! Learn your way around the menu and you'll grow to love it!
Freshest Seafood; Fantastic View; Friendly Folks; Large Variety of Food and Drinks; Yep, I'm HOOKED!! – I am an out of towner and it is important when I come into Atlanta not to take chances on eating just anywhere. I have tried several and hands down, Six Feet Under is the best overall. Any pick off of their menu is just the freshest and always cooked just right with that Southern flare. I use to eat at the Grant Park location, which is a close neighborhood feel and neat being across from the famous Oakland Cemetery, didn't... read more
Great Seafood, Great Atmosphere – I LOVE SIX FEET UNDER- Best View of the city. If you want really good seafood, Six Feet Under is the choice!
Atlanta's Overpriced Version of Long John SIlvers – My hair stylist recommended this place to me and said it had great food. Ended up there on a date with my boyfriend soon after. There is a view, but it's nothing to write home about. You can see a bit of downtown but the immediate view is on the sore side. And the food is about the same. I thought it was overpriced Long John Silvers. Also, don't get the raspberry margarita. They use a syrup to make it instead of a juice... I sent mine back because I wasn't about to pay $8 f... read more
You won't beat this view anywhere in Atlanta – The place is fantastic, and most people don't even know that it exists. It is a newly constructed building with a dining area and a huge bar downstairs (and an equally large beer selection). There are steps that lead up to a rooftop patio where there is another bar and another seating area. You will be shocked by the panoramic views of the downtown, midtown, and buckhead skylines. While I will be the first to admit that I am a tough critic, I felt that the food fell short of the... read more
Baked Grouper? – Yes and it is awesome!! The food is great. The beer selection is really good as well. There are several rotating taps as well as a lot of local beers. The deck has one of the most spectacular views of Atlanta. I love the simplicity of the food and the place. Bravo.
Great place for high-end pub food and well worth the wait for seating – My wife and I heard about the new Six Feet Under on the west side of mid-town Atlanta and we decided to check it out. When we arrived we valet parked (free) because I didn't know the area and this was very convenient. When we walked in, we wanted to seat on the upstairs patio but there was a 30 minute wait. But here's the surprising part: Instead of giving us one of those clunky restaurant pagers, they had a very cool wait management system that I had ne... read more
Popular Memorial Drive seafood joint brings its cheeky appeal to the burgeoning Westside, with a winning combination of food, booze and views. – The Scene Family friendly and laid-back, Six Feet Under is an affordably priced seafood shack for landlocked Atlantans. The spacious rooftop deck offers killer Midtown skyline vistas from surprisingly comfy wrought iron furniture and the sunlit first-floor interiors are bright and welcoming; there's also a well-designed bar with four big screen televisions. The staff of mostly tatto... read more
