HIgh Pressure Tactics – HIgh pressure sales tactics. Dishonest, and impossible promises to get you to sign contract. Sivage does not back any promises made by their agents, unless you get it in writing. Agents brag about their customers not even knowing they bought a home. FYI ( that's how good of a salesperson they are) Be Careful.
Protect yourself upfront!!! – Just purchased my home. The sales people are great - the contractor is not. My suggestion is use an inspector during all phases of construction. My inspector (Robert Skinner) cost me $550 and saved me $1,000's in the long run. Take pictures during the construction phase, everyday if you can. Take meticulous notes on EVERYTHING! Avoid the upgrades that are not structural - lighting, fixtures, flooring, etc - they are grossly overpriced. Save your money and upgrade later. And get those signature b... read more
Buyer Beware And Have A Home Inspection Done! – Pro: Nice and clean floorplans. Sales people are very friendly and doing a great job considering the product they are selling. Cons: Marginal construction, too many shortcuts by unskilled labor. Their internal "quality assurance" consists of pencil-whipping several check boxes on a form.
