We have attended the folk festival for years now. The artists are wonderful--a mix of up-and-comers and well-established. Each with a different brand of folk music that is inspired and super fun. The venues are relaxed and spread out within this small town in a way that encourages walking and interacting with others at the festival. It's a place for all ages to enjoy the camaraderie of this early fall festival.

How cool to move to Sisters and find that we had stumbled into the best little town around (or BIG town for that matter) for year-round great Americana music. It all started for us three years ago with the ultra-talented local musicians playing Wednesday nights during winter at the Depot, and culminated the following fall with the Sisters Folk Festival!
