I’ve heard so many horrible things about Mercy and was not looking forward to delivering my child there. Unfortunately I had no choice with my health insurance. Everything I had heard was about the main hospital so I figured it would be fine and just like my first childbirth at Baystate. Let me just start out by saying they exceeded my expectations. It was horrible. One of their midwives, Barla Bishop, made my experience miserable. If you get her, demand the OB instead and save yourself the anxiety and maltreatment.
RecommendedI have spent more time at Mercy than I would have liked but each and every time I do I feel I am getting the best care of anyplace else. that's why I wouldn't go any other place for my Heath problems 5 stars
Why is Baystate, Mercy and the Holyoke Medical center not utilizing the old Sears Department store at the Eastfield Mall as a testing and triage center for COVID-19 for the residents of Hamden county. The space is readily available and would allow the the hospital's to keep other patients safe and to resume surgeries. The mall is closed to non- essential businesses. The management company is planning on tearing the Sears down anyways...

I just suffer pain then on top of that. Went there today to get a spinal tap. Went from my dr office to mercy my dr called mercy set everything up. Went there just for them to send me from floor to floor. No one knew what I was talking about. Then this is not even the first time it has happened. Got a test done to then find out that the dr had miss place my blood work. Like really. Wtf it’s suppose to be a hospital but all I see is nothing but people not paying attention to there job or what they doing. I am so disappointed ... read more

Your CNA staff, 3 very unprofessional members of the 4th floor, I can only remember 1 name India very rude to my husband!
Horrible place . Would not bring my dog there if I had one .
