Sirmons Sucks Rick at Sirmons told me the mounting plate on my son's front driver's side strut was not cracked and safe to drive from Tallahassee to Sarasota, and all that was wrong was the strut was "worn down". The whole mounting plate was cracked. Another shop in Tallahassee said that, the car went back to Sirmons because this was consistent with damage in an accident they were supposed to repair, and they said it wasn't cracked and safe to drive.
