My husband, me and our pup stopped in for a late lunch yesterday. We dined on Sipeos lovely patio. We shared a mezze plate and the tofu burger. We choose the roasted red pepper romesco sauce and the charred eggplant for our mezze platter. Both dips were amazingly delicious. The grilled tofu burger was excellent. The food, service and drinks at Sipeos are superb. The place is beautiful. The pizza was way too cheesy and nothing special, and the other dish was just okay. The food tries to imitate meat dishes like meatballs or kofta, which just isn’t my thing. If you’re vegetarian or enjoy that style of food, you’ll probably like it more than I did.
Our experience was a true 10/10. Beautiful space. The most genuine, friendly service I've seen anywhere in a LONG time. Delicious, thoughtful, healthful food. And the mocktails were really tasty, too. You can tell that the owners and chef really care deeply about the whole experience. Can't wait to go back.
The trio of gazpachos, beet, mango, and tomatillo were out of this world. The fennel citrus salad was too low on fennel. Cocktails were creative and delicious. Who would have thought to put tahini in a cocktail? It totally worked.
