I dont support the Sioux San hopsital. They dont give a good service and yes it is free hospital. I dont recommends anyone going there and need to find a permamently Dr. which they dont have. It is not a good service for Natives.
RecommendedNice changes, the staff here are nice and knowledgeable.
The Health Services they provide is very important to the Native community. To eliminate the Clinic would be a big mistake and hurt a lot of Natives that live in Rapid City!
Doctors branded a Native man during his surgery with "kkk"!!!! This hospital needs to be shut down!!
Well things haven't changed much at Sioux San in Rapid City. Have been sitting in what use to be call ER now it is called Urgent Care for three hours waiting to see a Dr. No professionalism here no update on how much longer, no nurse visiting with room full of patients. I guess I will call Thunes office again and start another fire under some bodies Ass! Sioux San IHS
I used to hate going there, because it took so long. They are really good at getting people seen. Same day appointments are good too. The only thing about those. You have to call right at 7:30am and hope you get through. It is almost like getting through trying to win something off the radio. I have also noticed, they do appointments in the afternoon. You take a number and they only go through so many. That I know of. Trust me, the wait time isn't all that bad. I used to have to miss a day of work to go. Not so much, anymore... read more
Went to IHS with a severe migraine waited three hours just to get a shot which I had to wait another 30 min and it still didn't go away but sent me home and had it still
Excruciating back pain so bad it hurts to stand or sit, but go ahead and wait all day at Sioux San and they will probably give you generic Icy Hot and Ibuprofen. What a fucking joke!
