my has had two shoulder replacements done here and a knee. unreal efficiency, unreal service. The doctor himself called me personally immediately after the surgery to let me know how it went, which I really appreciated. made joint replacements. seem like routine tooth pulls. I've also had operations down there myself. will not ever go to Sanford for another operation. have had to of the same there and still dealing with same issue. Avera, in my opinion, his light years ahead of Sanford.
I have nothing but wonderful things to say about SFSH. We are going to be moving back to Iowa soon, but when I need my other knee done, I will be coming back here. Dr Walker and his whole staff are wonderful. The hospital its self is like a hotel, where you get cared for. The room was so nice, the food OMG it was so good and the nurses and aids are beyond amazing. I would give more stars if I could.
Have had several surgeries here over the years. Staff always friendly and attentive. Today with my knee replacement, I was a bit surprised when nurse prepping me before gowning up for the surgery instructed me to wipe myself down head to toe with a cporahexedine wipes. I told her that is in my chart as one of the meds I have an allergic reaction to. She made the statement that she is just filling no in for another nurse and she hadn't looked at my chart. I have had a few procedures done here over the years. Always amazing doctor care teams and support teams.
Dr. Rothrock, his surgery team and Hailey, Erin, Mindi, Melanie, David, Kiley and Kara the nurses, were AMAZING!! Kind and carrying. If you need a joint fixed. I highly recommend them!!
