My husband and I ate here the other night while on a business trip, visiting from Florida. The Sinigual location near us closed and we REALLY miss it. We ate there a lot. The New York location was just as amazing with much of the same atmosphere and delicious food! I wish I could have brought it all back home with me! The menu was a bit different, but the food and entire dining experience was wonderful. We will always come back when we visit NYC. And I would totally pay for the corn cake recipe! :)

The guacamole was amazing and the server charming, but the staff was obviously drilled to a program and any questions that diverged from the script put our server on edge. For example, why ask us three times what kind of guacamole we wanted? Why make ordering a plain Margarita difficult? Why expect us to have "another round?" of hard starter drinks, instead of asking what we wanted to drink with our food?

I have been just once, the food was delicious. A little bit overpriced in my opinion. However, it leans more toward a more "gourmet" approach, thus the price. The place is lovely, hacienda type of style. However, regarding the customer service, it took way too long for us to get for example, the check. The drinks, although tempting, were way over priced! (15-16dlls for a normal sized margarita). Nonetheless, I still would recommend this place.
