These guys are so awesome! I dropped my machine off and it was ready super quick and now I'll be able to put the finishing touches on a project for a friend in time to give it to them! They answered all of my questions as a newbie sewer. I'm an Austin native and these are the kind of good-hearted and down to earth people I identify with "how Austin used to be." Thank you so much!
I made a complaint about them losing a part on my machine. Usually the turn around on a cleaning and adjustment is between 4 to 6 weeks. I brought my machine in on Monday and I got a call on Tuesday that it was ready for pick up... RED FLAG. I got the impression that I was being told "Don't come back" When I came in to get my machine, they charged me for the part they lost and blamed me. Said "you must have lost it in your car". I over heard a conversation while shopping. I've never heard a more disrespectful conversation. They called the lady a liar. Then wouldn't give her the itemized receipt. Told her to step out even without giving her the sewing machine she dropped off.
I would give this business 100 stars if I could. Not only is every single worker there helpful and extremely kind, so is the owner Mary. I am a new sewer/embroiderer and I have had many situations where I needed help quick--they drop what they're doing to help, provide knowledge on my machine & even offer to sit down and help! my wife swears by this place and the amazing women that work there. she drives 30+ minutes each way to even pick up small things, because she knows the too notch service she will get with it. The women are very educated on the products they have and are incredibly friendly. its true that they go out of their way to help you, even if it's on a machine you didn't purchase from their store. you can tell sewing and embroidering is their passion and they're very good at it. it's a special community with great pricing! 10/10
