Nothing else like it! A "must-visit" when in Quakertown!
If in Quakertown Pa, please stop by the 5&10 , you will be walking into a time capsule but with many of today amenities. They still sever food until 2pm, and you eat at the original counter, but don't stop there, throughout the store are many item's that were sold during its 102 years in business. It's well worth the ride on a Saturday [they are closed on Sunday )
I took 4 of my great nieces & nephews to Sine's yesterday for an after-camp ice cream treat. It was their second trip this summer. Root beer floats, milk shakes and ice cream sundaes all made to perfection. And each made a purchase from the store. I want them to know & respect a 'mom & pop' business. That the world isn't just McD's & Walmart. Everyone should take an afternoon this summer for a root beer float break!
