Stay away if you are looking for a reliable BMW restoration shop. Chris at Sin City BMW is not a trustworthy businessman. Extremely dishonest. My experience was not good. He has poor communication skills and would not return simple phone calls throughout the restoration process. He would not listen to my needs or concerns. Not only that, but the overall restoration was poor, requiring costly and extensive mechanical repair in which he refusedto back by warranty. Yeah. Well. Here's the deal. I've been working with Chris and the team for several years now on several BMW projects. They know their shiz. Really. As a dedicated gear head, I've been turning wrenches on Mercedes, BMW, and Porsche cars for decades now - and sometimes, I just need someone like Chris to help me get things handled. The Sin City team goes above and beyond. If they get a cut, they bleed Bavarian blue and white. Chris is a dishonest businessman. I bought an engine from him for my BMW and had to have it transported to me in the San Francisco area. When my mechanic tried to put it in my car, he discovered that Chris had sent the wrong model. It cost me more than $1900 for the shipping and the work the mechanic did, but Chris has reneged on his word to reimburse me. I will have to sue him to get my money. Beware.
