Update: They still never gave me a new provider after the one I had left due to their incompetence. Even though their services pause ended over 2 weeks ago. This is a terrible organization. They leave people very vulnerable. They blindsided hundreds or more clients by ripping away therapy which left many who suffer from debilitating mental illness without any support. I am continually impressed by the way that SIMS shows up for their community, and the care and dedication in with which they provide their services. SIMS is a vital part of what makes Austin special and I would encourage everyone to support their mission.
As an Austinite, I have seen SIMS show up and support countless people in our music industry community here. I have friends whose lives have literally been saved and transformed because of the mental health services SIMS provided them. SIMS is a pillar of the Austin community!
SIMS Foundation is a staple of the Austin music community. They are an incredible organization that constantly support the fiber of Austin: our musicians and their families. Thankful that an organization like SIMS exists!
This is an incredible organization that provides mental health and recovery services to support a music community where the needs are ever increasing.
