This doctor is not interested in the care and treatment of his patients. Dr. Ashok Mehta is a doctor who likes to do nothing and bill exorbitantly for his non-services. He does not care about his patients at all. Go to any other provider and it is likely that you will have a better experience.
Incompetent office staff, and extremely long wait times. Our appointments take almost three hours and their is always an hour plus wait to even see the dr.

I think you are thinking of another Dr. Mehta as we have never let a patient wait more than 30 minutes max and that would only be because the Medical Assistants were performing test on other patients. Never in my 10 years has a patient waited over 15 minutes in the waiting room, as for the doctor the max time is possibly 20 minutes but mostly about 15 minutes. My staff is always competent and efficient, we rarely if ever have complaints about them. Everything I hear regarding staff is praises.
While the Dr. gave an impression of capability, I always got the feeling that my condition may have been a bit more than he could handle.I have a very serious neurological/cardiac condition and take numerous medications.There are several medications that Dr. Mehta prescribed which are contraindicated.I was unaware of this when I started taking them. One of them is highly dangerous to just stop taking, considering my health condition. He refused to refill it and dismissed me from the practice,

While capable of handling most of your problems,I had never agreed to continue writing medications you needed that were originally provided by your neurologist. Out of courtesy I did write them a couple times but had advised you to return to your neurologist for those types of medications and follow ups on your condition. I do apologize that you misunderstood what exactly we could do for you in light of your many medication and medical problems .
