My 8yr old got heat sick during our camping trip. She is fearful of needles and was overwhelmed at the thought of getting an IV. I was amazed at how well Maria was able to calm her nerves, walk her through the process and even grant my daughter’s requests. Maria only needed one try and that’s all it took for my daughter to feel back to normal almost instantly! Highly recommend this service and according to my kid, Maria is the only one allowed to poke her from now on.
Of course-got another IV drip from Maria-this is my 5th!!! Love her and the care that she offers is phenomenal-I don’t go to anyone else!! She is very caring, professional and educational as well. She is the best mobile service unit-for kids as well as adults alike! 1000000 x recommend her for all of my blood draws(me and my son only call on her for her services!) and for my IV hydration-whether I’m feeling great or not feeling my usual-I call Maria!
Maria is an excellent phlebotomoist and at starting IVs. She’s started IVs on hundreds of children at my clinic over the past 5 years at least. And not just easy IVs, the majority of them are hard sticks on children with Autism and similar conditions. I can highly recommend her IV skills first hand. In fact, when it came time to do some routine blood work for our toddler Maria was the first person we called.
First off, Maria is an amazing stick! I have an extensive medical history and she has never missed my small veins. Whether it was an IV (Myer's is my go-to) or a routine blood draw, she does it with ease. Secondly, she's great with kids and has a prize box which they can choose from. Thirdly, she responds to our appointment requests promptly, which isn't as common as it used to be. My family and I will not go to anyone else after experiencing her expertise. Thank you, Maria!
My daughter had her tonsils out and wasn't drinking fluids... we called and they came same day to give her fluids! Maria was an absolute GEM and I would trust her with my kiddos labs and IV any day!
