Haven't had any bad experiences dining here. Food and service good. Only complaint is the fact they no longer offer their Sunday Farmer's Brunch that included a three tier afternoon tea presentation with a breakfast entree of your choice along with "honey from the sky". This is when a server would share info about the water fall seen out the restaurant window all while drizzling honey high in the air falling onto a flaky biscuit on your plate.
Beautiful location in an historic inn. We were seated right next to the window. Unfortunately things went downhill from there. The food was okay. My halibut was a bit overdone and the noodles were somewhat flavorless. The seafood stew was good but packed with way too many green peppers. The service was terrible. Our server waited a half an hour to tell us the starter had sold out and then disappeared for another ten minutes before we could order a substitute. Great service. The views were very nice and so was the food.
MAY 2026: Wonderful. I'm glad I finally visited. Almost nobody gets 5 stars. I loved the mildly spicy seafood stew paired with Phelps Creek Riesling. For people who don't know: Great view, located inside a wonderful classic riverfront hotel.( We must take care of these things )
I ordered ceviche, but what was served seemed like shrimp mixed with cocktail sauce served beside broken tortilla chips.
