Quality of Furniture questionable I have purchased both my daughters nursery furniture as well as recently purchasing bunk beds for her. The first time around we had her crib and dresser delivered, the crib we put together, however when the dresser was unwrapped - it had obviously fallen off the truck somewhere along the line as the side rails for the drawers had all fallen and the drawers were shifted down - the complete thing was a mess. Great Furniture We purchased our sons nursery furniture at Simons, and got a high end set for a great price. They were very helpful, and had a wide variety of cribs and other furniture. I'm looking forward to buying his next bedroom set in a year or so.
Great Experience I have not written many reviews but felt this was deserving. We shopped all the big box stores but the prices were high and the quality was junk. Simons was less expensive and much better quality. Plus the selection was huge in comparison and the service was as excellent. They knew everything and we had our order delivered in 2 weeks. Great experience!
High Quality Products This place has some beautiful products. Everthing you can think of for the new baby arrival. If you sign up for the registery they give you credit towards merchandise for everything that is bought on your registery. Nice! The staff is extremely helpful too. I bought a pair of lamps that had to be ordered and they came and the colors didn't match. They quickly rectified the situation! The prices can be high but its great.
Baby Furniture-perfect! My husband and I have been looking everywhere for furniture. They had furn for kids as well as adults!! As soon as we got to Simon's, we knew it was a no brainer. The boutique is beautiful and the workers there great. Can't imagine buying anywhere else for our kids.
Simon's- A great experience My husband and I have both had such a great experience at Simon's. They were knowledgeable and great to work with during our pregnancy. We found that they were honest about their deliveries and that their quotes, were just that, a quote. However, we got our furniture right within quote. We took the car seat/stroller safety seminar and thought Mark was amazing. The store was clean, the help friendly, and we LOVE our furniture.
Most amazing service I've ever had! I had ordered a bunk-bed set from another store and it was supposed to be delivered Sep 22nd. Sep 28th the store called and said it would be another month until delivery. I canceled the order, but was in a jam then. We had 9 guests coming for the weekend Oct1st, and our social worker for our post-adoption visit was coming for a house inspection Sep 30th!! Great furniture We bought our son's crib here. The quality of furniture is great. Once or twic a year they have a blowout sale that is GREAT! Highly recommend this store.
Major disappointment. We heard good word of mouth reviews from other families here in Rochester. Store staff were very friendly during registry set up in the summer of 2012. Later, though, we found several items that never made it onto our registry. A friend called to inquire about the stroller we listed. They took it off the registry even though she never bought it.
