great views. not my favorite steak house. lobster bisque not good.
The service was very good and the view from the hilltop was a memorable experience. The Mahi Mahi was excellent. I would recommend others to try it out.
Went to Simms for restaurant week. Even at the discounted price of $45 per person. I was disappointed with the bison and meal overall. Not bad, not good... Disappointed at the quality of the food. We went on a Wednesday that happened to be "wind down wednesday" with 1/2 priced wines priced $100+. Decent wine selection to choose from. On a positive, the service was impeccable. Excelllent knowledge of the menu, wine pairing and overall very friendly. Regardless, overpriced menu.
Sunday night dinner. I had the lobster tail and he had the filet. Both were so good, I asked who prepared our meals. Sous-chef Jason, you did an excellent job preparing our meals to the level expected from Simms. I have been frequenting this restaurant since 1983, when servers walked around with bread boxes strapped around their necks, offering 4-5 different types of rolls. While service and food quality had trailed off, this visit brought back memories of wonderful, high quality, well prepared meals and excellent service.

My husband and I went to Simms this evening for our anniversary. TJ was one of the best waiters we had ever had. The food was excellent, and service even better! We look forward to returning for other celebrations!

Normally I love this place but tonight has been a disappointment to say the least. Our reservation was for 8:30pm and it is now 10pm and I am still missing my steak.
