Hands down the best sporting goods store in the state. Family owned and a great place to do business. Can't say enough about Mr. and Mrs. Simmons and their drive to satisfy their customers.
The staff at Simmon's are the most helpful I have encountered anywhere. They have no problem showing you multiple products and answering any question you have. I always do my homework before making a firearm purchase, but Simmon's is always the first place I check with! Their prices are lower than any price I can find online, and if you wait a couple of weeks they will have a sale price that is even lower!!!
I loved this place until today. I came in looking for a optic and mags for my new Stag AR. I was open carrying as usual and had been walking around looking for a while. I go to the back counter where the high dollar optics are and look for about 30 seconds. All of a sudden one of the employees walks up from behind the counter and (with a bad attitude) asks if I have a badge. I replied no, then he tells me to give him my weapon. I said ”do what”.
