RecommendedDr. Simmons and his staff are great! I've been seeing him for years. I lost my insurance coverage for a couple years so hadn't been to see him. As soon as my new insurance became effective I made an appointment. I thought he had retired and I was so bummed!! I was so thrilled when I got to my appointment and there he was! I really appreciate his candor and sense of humor. 100 out of 10, highly recommend!
James Simmons has been my eye doctor since I was about 5 years old maybe little older but I had this guy for so many years I won’t ever leave this doctor for anyone he knows my eyes inside and out and knows what’s best when there’s something off w my eye he will squeeze me in, to make sure it’s nothing too serious since I have had rentia detachment on both eyes and he sent me to the world best doctor!! He takes my eyes Seriously he’s amazing and he is highly recommend!!

I am a new patient to Eye 5 Optical. I had a wonderful experience on my first visit. From the very first phone call to make my appointment, the entire staff has been very informative while providing amazing customer service. Dr. Simmons is great! He keeps you aware of what is coming next every step of the way. He has a humorous side which is a huge plus! If you are looking for a caring Optometrist, Dr. Simmons is your best choice! I look forward to being a long term patient.
I’ve been a patient for 3 yrs now & couldn’t be happier. Dr Simmons is the best!!! I had Lasik back in 2004 & it began to wear off, I’m back in contacts now but 1 is for reading & other is for distance.
I enjoy the staff, I enjoy Dr. Simmons, and I even enjoy the fun we have over the quiz about which image is clearer -- like he's not keeping them exactly alike! Love this place - best optometrist ever.
