Built at southbridge addiction @ 8808 e 136th st so in Bixby Built a Simmons home home quality is nice but they do a cheap driveway no rebarb in driveway so it cracks after a year or so and thats a 10,000. Dollar expenses to have done the right way
They will lie to you about quotes to get you through the door. When you show them price quotes, they won’t honor them either. They will also not negotiate pricing. I asked them to essentially take the price off of their house that my realtor would cost them if I brought them in. They essentially said they’d rather pay the realtor the money than put the $$$ back in their customers pockets. They will also nickel and dime you on every little upgrade. BUYERS BEWARE!! Simmons is full of empty promises and poor workmanship. We have owned our house less than a year, and the masonry work has already cracked and fell off the house. The rock work on our porch has cracked and is loose. When this was submitted to Simmons we were told that we would have to wait until the end of our warranty to have this repaired. I bought my home from Simmons when it was still just a concrete slab. Unfortunately this has been one of the poorest financial decisions I have ever made. The HVAC system was a lemon from the start. While it was under warranty the HVAC company used a little spit and glue to make temporary fixes. The panel on the unit that holds the switch that keeps the unit operating was not even bolted on until I hired someone to look at it after the warranty expired! Buyer Beware – Built a house with Simmons in 2009. Everything up to the after sale customer service was great. Lea Ann was the best rep I have ever dealt with. Once we were in post sale, the company folded in regards to customer service. Since I only have 3758 characters left I won't be able to fit what kind of problems I've had with them. Ultimately, they build homes too fast, sacrifice quality for time and rarely are able to get a hold of regarding warranty issues.
