Awful. Can't ever speak to anyone for customer service and when I call the bank branches I still get sent to customer service. They lied about everything when they went from landmark to simmons. Don't trust this bank!!!

This bank do what ever they have to do to get some overdraft fees or insufficient fees. Not sure if it's there computers or someone working there but they will charge your card in the order they want in order to get you in the negatives. Most of your transactions won't match up with your mobile app by the end of the week. There job is to hold my money. The employees are all rude and I understand it's a business but your here to hold my money. No machine or app is supposed to dictate what order my card is charged. If I pay fo... read more

I attempted to pay a bill for new glasses with my Simmons Card - the card was declined, I am no where close to a limit, I have never been late on a payment. Most of the time I keep a zero balance on my card. After the card was declined and I had paid the bill and left the store. I received a text message asking, did you make a purchase in the amount of 463.00. The obvious answer is NO, I could not make the purchase with the Simmons Card because the card was declined. They took over Landmark Bank and are a scam. They put a limit on mobile deposits, closed all lobbies, and drive through has an hour or more wait due to every banking issue being dealt with in drive through. We got charged every transaction we did including making deposits due to , they said, we maxed out our transaction amount?? Do not do business with this joke or scam of a bank...they forget who the customer us and they don't allow deposits to be made...strange strange business practices

Can't stand the bank. I'll be switching. I have screen shots of an agent tell me that the amount I had in my checking was my balance. That the money had already been taken for the pending charges. Well the next morning, before I had done anything I checked my account...my balance had lowered! The pending charges were done and money was gone! I called and was told the money taken was for the pending charges! Told them what the first guy said and that I even had screen shots of that conversation. Horrible bank and unprofessional!!!.Loan officers and underwriters are inexperienced!!!advise extremely not to do business with..waited less than 24 hours to kill my mortgage when knowing for weeks that they wasn't going to do business .total wast of time!!

They will freeze your account, they will maximize their fees to drain your account and they will not guard your privacy. There will be nobody there after hours or weekend to help. Simmons states only that it "may" assess these fees: "If we pay even though you don't have the money in your account; you may be charged a Paid Item Fee (Overdraft Fee). If we return your item without paying it you may be charged a Return Item Fee (Insufficient Funds (NSF) Fee [sic]." But it is its standard policy to always to do, multiple times on... read more

If you have a checking account with this bank beware of hidden fees. We had a checking account at this bank and moved and forgot to change our address with this bank. This was a secondary account we rarely used and didn't keep up with it much. They charged us $10.00 a month for returned mail which was our statement which they charged us a additional $3.00 a mo. for. They did this until the account was drained of all funds from their fee charges then closed it. They had our phone number they could have called but they was mor... read more
