They don’t even deserve 1 star. Unprofessional and the least bit helpful. Unexpected fees charged with no explanation. I’m slowly closing my accts and switching to another bank. I bet they’re not open in our little town for long.
Recently, due to the ridiculous amount of fees, I finally switched my bank. This year, due to an emergency there was a lot going on as we awaited our check via mail from a accident. Even though we would always ensure the account was fixed, I'll never forget how in just about 2 weeks alone we were hit with about $300 worth of fees. After facing what we were dealing with already, imagine the extra burden felt all from a greedy bank. I switched over to a bank that better fits our needs and doesn't charge ridiculous fees. Not to... read more

Unprofessional and uneducated. No customer service. Act like they are doing you a favor and are too good for you. Would change the account if I could.
This bank is RIDICULOUS AND stuck in the 1900's, I keep getting charged NSF fees because apparently even though my account shows an available balance, it is not really there because of a preauth hold (that I cannot see) and they refuse to refund my fees. In return they tell me to write my transactions down in a registry as if I have time to do that all day. They need to upgrade their system like everyone else!
I had 250 dollars in bank it went down to 190 then back up to 210 in a matter of minute's. It had nothing coming out. It let me draw my money out but then my credit card payment that it said had already been pulled out wasn't. So it cost me in fees . now I have an over drawn account and the foodstamp office want give me my foodstamps until I show them a bank statement for a account that is no longer active. So its been two months without grocery s iam at the mercy of friends to feed me its wrong its just dead wrong and they ... read more
Simmons Bank has gone full corpo and is tone deaf to their customers needs. I previously had a business account with Landmark bank. A few months after merging into Simmons I switched to Chase. I decided to cancel my account with Simmons but they told me I had to do it in person which wasn't possible for me since I was out of state. I emptied fund and stopped using them. When I finally got back in town they wanted $20 to shut it down. I told them I wouldn't pay and a week later I got a nasty letter from them saying that they ... read more
My bank was bought out by Simmons and I've had nothing but problems. They process transactions out of order, then return the items after charging an overdraft fee.
I recently took over a business, I went into my local branch to change my EIN number. This was in April. Well fast forward, the bank took 2 weeks to change it in their system, yes, I have the email where the local branch manager states it and now the IRS has put a levy on my account because of the previous owners EIN! I spoke to a IRS agent and she stated, "just like ss# are issued so that no mix ups occur(how many John Smith do you know?) EIN serve the same purpose". Simmons bank received a letter from the IRS with a EIN th... read more
