If you are referred here, do yourself the biggest favor and ask to be referred somewhere else. My primary has sent in two referrals to this place for rheumatology after being diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. My primary instructed me to call them to set up an apt because they’ve sent my referral in. The people who answer the phones for scheduling are absolutely awful. It took a LONG time to get an appointment, but that seems to be the unfortunate standard of specialists nowadays. I received adequate reminders of my appointment. The staff was super sweet, and I was seen in a timely manner. Dr. Kosboth is what every doctor should strive for in bedside manner! She was attentive, kind, and felt genuine in her compassion. I am thankful for this practice!

For starters, the referral team kept telling me they never received my referral, come to find out, they received it the day UF sent it to them (had to call the Ocala office to find that out...). Then, I finally got in to see the doctor. In short - 1. He doesn’t listen whatsoever. 2. He passes everything off to your primary care doctor. 3. He orders labs, they come back abnormal and then he tells you to contact your PCP, despite you saying over and over that you do not have one.
