Called for an emergancy after finding out I most likely have cancer that can not be treated. Was feeling suisidal, though medicated. The 24 hour hotline NO one answered an they called me today apologizing for not" checking the messages, and it being too late to call you when we heard them" Glad I found someone to talk to ( toronto service)or I may not be here right now.. real sad guys. If someone says they are giving up, YOU CALL NO MATTER THE TIME!
We need more mental health and addiction services with out them we are doomed. We have a serious problem on this planet and it’s not getting better. 1/4 suffer. What will you do.
