Stacey at the design center was great to work with. She was patient and very helpful and thorough in reviewing our options.
We built a brand new home, built by Silverthorne/Arbor Homes. One upstairs bedroom cannot cool properly. My children sleep in this room. The thermostat is set to 67°F. The rest of the house reaches near that temperature. This bedroom consistently runs 6+ degrees higher - reaching 73°F+ and still climbing at midnight while the AC runs all night. So many warranty issues it’s ridiculous! This was supposed to be a higher level build considering the price and Arbors semi custom home. A lot of smoke and mirrors! Many of the warranty issues took a very long time to sort out. We will likely be hiring an attorney for a big safety issue! Update: we had to fix this issue ourselves! So much for a warranty. My boyfriend and I are first time home buyers. Julie, our design center interior designer, was wonderful and a very useful asset in visualizing our choices in our future home. When we arrived, she was prepared with a printed layout of our home detailed with all of the design decisions we needed to make.
