I’m leaving this review to share my experience as a homeowner with Arbor / Silverthorne Homes. Unfortunately, the issues with my home began immediately upon moving in and have continued to surface over time. From day one, I discovered problems that should never exist in a newly built home. Silverthorne Homes likes to sell themselves as Arbor Homes elevated series. “With Silverthorne Homes, our dedication to quality means that we strive to exceed homeowner expectations every step of the way.” That couldn’t be farther from the truth. They like to say they meet or exceed BAGI standards, that is barely the case. We had to two project managers and the first one was fantastic and held everyone to standard but he got shipped to another neighborhood in the middle of our build. Stacey at the design center was great to work with. She was patient and very helpful and thorough in reviewing our options.
We built a brand new home, built by Silverthorne/Arbor Homes. One upstairs bedroom cannot cool properly. My children sleep in this room. The thermostat is set to 67°F. The rest of the house reaches near that temperature. This bedroom consistently runs 6+ degrees higher - reaching 73°F+ and still climbing at midnight while the AC runs all night.
