So thankful I went to Dr. Nielson for a 2nd opinion, after the first dentist in the area had recommended a long list of treatments to include seeing specialists. Dr. Nielson was honest and explained what was necessary and what was not necessary. He is very kind and has a gentle hand during treatment that was truly needed. I’m so grateful to have found this amazing dental office! As a new patient, I can confidently say that Dr. Nielsen is the best dentist I’ve ever had. He’s incredibly gentle, knowledgeable, and quick — a true professional who puts you at ease right away. The entire experience was flawless. Watch out for underhanded tactics. They won’t tell you upfront that your insurance is not accepted until *after* your appointment is over. Then they expect you to pay above and beyond what you would normally pay for a copay for their mistake. Make sure you ask before you make an appointment if they take your insurance. As far as the visits are concerned, Dr Nielsen is pretty knowledgable and thorough. The first cleaning I had was amazing.
