Well I guess SHRINKFLATION has hit Silverlake Ramen! After ordering from here for many years, I started to notice my noodle volume and meat quantity decrease. The noodles seem to have been cut by 30% and there is now only one piece of pork instead of two. They also forgot my soft boiled egg or maybe it doesn’t come with it anymore who knows! Hello Silverlake Ramen Downtown LA. So I ordered for pickup. When o get there my wasabi is all over the top of my sushi roll. I always order the same roll everywhere I go. I never had to say no wasabi because it’s always to the side not sitting on top on my sushi roll. However, Chayenne T had attitude. When she just took the wasabi off and gave me the same roll back. Just received my first order via Grubhub. It was perfection at every turn; from early delivery thanks to Edward at Grubhub, to the presentation, yes I said presentation for a delivery order, but it was neat and tidy and well done and the food was AMAZING!!
I came here with my family around 10pm for a quick bit since most places were closed. We have always been a big supporter of Silverlake Ramen. This is our 1st time at the DTLA location. The food was mediocre compared to the other locations. When I checked out, I noticed the tip % was low so I added the tip. Quickly, I realized that the server put down my party of 5 instead of 4 so 18% tip was already added to the bill.
