What started great became a huge disappointment— especially for patients on Medicaid. At first, this facility and Dr. Hegyi were great—attentive, communicative, and thorough. But as time went on, that quickly changed. Poor experience from the onset, inefficient and incompetent front desk staff. They don’t return phone calls in a timely manner and they seem immature and inexperienced. They also claimed they never received important documents from another doctor’s office at Palomar. I am actually inclined to believe Palomar as they told us of the fax confirmation. You can never get connected to the phone and the voice mail without any responses. They claimed they sent the blood test order but when I got there they never received order. I called and still no response so I had to drive there and ask them to send blood order to lab. Very frustrating experience and very disappointed. Run as fast as you can !
I'm so grateful for Dr. Edit Hegyi, my kind, caring, and extremely professional primary care physician. After returning from a couple of years abroad, I started experiencing some concerning symptoms. Dr. Edith promptly scheduled several lab tests and procedures at my first appointment to pinpoint the cause. I'm now receiving the results and look forward to working with her to get better.
