My wife has brain met . She entered with Silverado hospice 11 days ago . My wife had been getting excellent care. Her left leg and arm is painful from a fall 13 days ago . She lays in bed 24/7 . If it wasn’t for the leg issues we would had enjoyed better quality of life . We would like to give our many thanks to RN Amy Cabarro, Sharon Rascón. Martin and social worker Michele. My father was unexpectedly at end of care life and we needed to pick a Hospice. I regret picking Silverado . While I hear most hospice these days are horrible , I can attest this one is horrible . Try and find a better one. My dad was only home for 30 some hours and we got horrible care. Laura the admitting liason lied or grossly misrepresented the service. Terrible and negligent. Our 96-year-old grandfather and veteran is a patient of theirs and they brought Covid into my grandparents house where my husband and I also live with and we help when we can. Well, shocker - but my husband and I caught it after our grandparents did too (shocker I know) and we were left high and dry with no help or resources. Silverado hospice gave my father dignity at the end, and gave my family peace of mind about his death. Their team is amazing and they really do care - despite what some of the unhinged Karens may say. The grief of losing my dad will never go away, but without Silverado it would have been much worse.
This place is a scam. Google them. They have felony charges against them. They lie, sign you up and then you are all on your own. Ask questions. Do research. Don’t trust their sales people. Prayers to you and your loved ones. Death should not be traumatic for the families. Peace to all.
