I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Silver Star Motor Cars recently, and I must say, it was nothing short of a nightmare. Mr. What a great experience. Usually buying and trading in a car is a monumental task for the customer. From the first phone call to the time I drove off in my low milage 2001 XJ8 Jag, I was treated with respect and all of the employees wanted to make me happy. It always helps to have a CarFax to look at as well and they give that for all cars for free. Have to add on to my first review. Update #2 So after fighting nonstop with Kevin on the phone to get the trade in paid off, him refusing to show proof of payoff (which I deserved after being lied to so many times), I involved BBB. Suddenly I received proof of payment. HOWEVER!!!! they have now not done the paperwork to have the truck that I purchased from them registered to me. This means no license plates, no proof it is mine, other than I have to pay the lien and I have a contract stating it is mine. Why is it so ha... read more

Three weeks ago I traded in a car, which is currently for sale (he does not have the title) and bought a truck. He has not finished the transaction by paying off what I traded in and receiving the title. The car is still is my name and I am expected to pay on the note, as well as now the new vehicle I traded for. He said he’d check into it, and never returned my emails or calls.
