besides breads and all, i love to see the African crew of bakers mixing, pounding, cutting the bread dough through the large window. no machine can replace the beauty of this hand made art. early morning they play their music and it rocks...always happy and joking and all in french and waving at me and my kids when we pass by which happens 10 times a day or more...they are part of my extended happy french family.
