Was given a gift card for here and I'm so happy I tried it out! Destinee was great. She informed me of what she was doing, checked in with me throughout, offered products she'd recommend but wasn't pushy, and listened to my skin concerns/habits. Super smooth booking process and got $30 off for my first appt booking online. I will say this is a facial bar and not a spa, do not expect a serene, muted space, but an open air, bright environment.
First time visiting silver mirror facial bar, and my experience with Adrienne was great. She was pleasant, warm, tentative, and was sure to explain each step in the process. I’m not someone who takes great care of their skin, but my visit today will definitely have me return regularly.
First, thank you, Ms. Maya! I recommend you book her for any facial. She is very thorough, and I leave each time with my face glowing. Second, this is not a luxury spa experience. But if you live or work in the Navy Yard area, this salon is a convenient and very nice way to take care of your skin. Third, as others have mentioned, spaces are divided by sheer drapes and you can hear people talking. It has never bothered me and I am still able to have a relaxing time.
As someone who gets facials monthly, I decided to get a monthly subscription service. Overall: If you're looking to relax and have a luxury facial experience, this is not it. If you just need a basic facial every month and don't care about the environment, I'd consider. However, Dupoint was a much better environment, I just live closer to this one.
