Watch out for a tall 50-something year old man. He's balding and wears grey sweatpants and sweater. He also walks with his arms straight down and walks very slow. I walked out of Joanne's, he followed me and my friend to our car and asked to get in. He was very aggressive. He backed off when my friend pulled out her pepper spray, but he continued to follow other women. We called the police twice, they couldn't arrest him. That was maybe 3 weeks ago. I don't know how those stores stay in business. The only people I see there are walkers.
There are no shops in the mall. All the stores are empty. The stores that are in the mall have nothing to offer.
Just moved here from Boise, Idaho in November. This was my first visit to Silver Lake Mall. For CDA being a tourist town I expected a large mall at least the size of North Town Mall in Spokane, or maybe even the one in Boise, and with an additional floor. I was extremely disappointed to find such a small mall with so few stores and such a poor variety of food choices in the food court.
